Guidelines for a Seamless Experience

At Touch of Elegance MedSpa, we strive to provide an exceptional experience for all of our clients. To ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction, we have established a set of policies designed to maintain a comfortable and efficient environment. Whether you're a new client or a returning guest, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our guidelines on appointments, bookings, cancellations, and more. Your understanding and cooperation help us deliver the excellence you deserve.

  • By Appointment Only

    Please keep in mind, most of our appointments are By Appointment Only and we are coming in specifically for your service especially for our medical director and injectors. As we do gladly accept walk-in’s if availability allows it, we are mostly, by appointment. We are coming in specifically for you and your service treatment and as we respect your time, we hope you also respect and understand our policy guidelines. New clients please arrive with ample time (10 min early) to fill out new client forms and use the restroom if needed before starting your treatments. 


  • Bookings

    At Touch of Elegance we do require a valid credit card on file at time of booking. We will not charge this card for any reason unless there is a no-show or cancellation made after our 24hr grace period. If the card on file expires or is not accepted as a valid credit card, we cannot book another apt for you until a valid card is placed on file. 

  • Deposits

    Any service that has a possibility of being over $1000 (i.e. PDO threads, PRP injections, fillers, etc.) will require a $100 non refundable deposit. This deposit will go towards your service. If you cancel after the 24hr grace period, this deposit is forfeited. If canceled before 24 hrs, your deposit will stay on file for you to use towards other services. 

  • Cancellations

    We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. We ask this for scheduling purposes so that we have availability for others to book appointments as needed. Any cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment may result in a charge of $50 fee unless a deposit was put on file, then that will be forfeited. Again, please keep in mind, most of our appointments are By Appointment Only and we are coming in specifically for your service especially for our medical director and injectors. 

  • No-Shows

    All no-show appointments will be charged a minimum of $50 unless a larger deposit was put on file for a higher priced service, then that amount will be forfeited. In order to book another service, you must put down a non refundable deposit of $50 minimum unless the treatment is a higher price, then we will require $100. After a second no show, we will no longer accept you as a client. To avoid these matters we send out confirmation texts the day before your scheduled service. 


  • Late Arrivals

    Please remember that we schedule our appointments in 15-minute intervals; because of this, if you are a few minutes late we will try our best to fit you in, but we will have to reschedule any client that is more than 15 minutes late. We understand life is crazy and can throw curve balls, like traffic; however, please allot ample time in the day to arrive to your appointments on time. If you know you are going to run late, please give us a call to see if we can still accept your appointment, or get you rescheduled.


  • “Time of the Month”

    When booking your appointment, please be mindful of your menstrual cycles. Our skin care professionals will provide all services during your "time of the month;" therefore, we do not consider this a valid reason for any last–minute cancellations. 

  • Pre-Natal Clients

    First of all, congratulations! Please let us know as soon as you find out the good news. If you are in the middle of receiving laser treatments, this will be the only time we are beyond happy to cancel your services as we cannot perform laser during pregnancy. As for facial services, we will happily switch to pregnancy safe products for your treatments. 

  • Facility Vibes

    We understand life can be very hectic and coming to receive a service at the spa is a “me time” moment for many. With this being said, we ask that you turn your phones and/or devices on silent during your time in our facility to the best of your ability. If you need to talk a call, please step outside of the facility for more privacy. Children (as much as we adore them) are not preferred in our spa as to keep our clients in their most serene state. We also have many ingredients and objects that could be potentially harmful to our little ones, and no one wants that. We appreciate you scheduling your appointments when you have adequate childcare. 

  • Gratuity

    Gratuity is not included in our service prices. If you would like to leave gratuity, 10-20% is suggested and very much appreciated by our service providers.

  • What To Wear

    If you are receiving a spa treatment such as a facial where they're will be massage incorporated, please wear something comfy and remove all jewelry before your treatment. You will have a few moments to undress to your comfort level and make yourself cozy under the blanket before your service begins. 

  • Laser Hair Removal
    • Please shave the area to be treated the night or morning before your treatment. If you forget, we have disposable razors and can shave the area for you for an additional fee.
    • DO NOT use any topical retinoids for at least 3-4 days before your treatment.
    • No direct sun exposure or sunless tanner before your treatment.
    • Treat your skin gently for the next 24 hours.
    • Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes.
    • Come in makeup-free to the best of your ability (if being treated on the face).
    • If getting skincare services in combination with laser services, we suggest getting laser done first, then a facial a couple of days later.
    • If you receive a facial first, wait 7-10 days before getting your laser treatment to avoid any issues from ingredients working on your cell turnover.
    • Sensitivity, histamine bumps, and redness are all perfectly normal.
    • Pain is subjective, but treatments are quick, and we offer many options to lower the heat or increase our air machine to ensure comfort.
    • Some areas may feel stingy, but this sensation goes away quickly.
    • Comparatively, laser hair removal is way less painful than waxing.
    • 6-12 sessions are needed, depending on the person.
    • After 12 sessions with our company, it's considered a touch-up and is half the price.
    • Touch-ups are needed about once or twice a year, but this varies by person.
    • Results last 5-10 years.
    • Hormonal imbalances (e.g., PCOS, menopause, hypothyroidism) may cause results to not last as long, but you will still get results.
    • White, grey, clear, red, and blonde hair cannot be treated by our device.
    • We have an ND:YAG by Candela, considered one of the most gentle and effective machines in the industry, to safely treat all skin types from Fitzpatrick I-VI.
  • What Do I Book First?

    When booking a facial and injections in the same day or close together, always book the facial before the injections as your injections will need time to settle and should not be manipulated with too much facial massage.
